    What's New?

STEER is currently enrolling 40-year-old women who have not had regular mammograms in the past 2 years from Gadsden and Wakulla counties. Recruitment is underway through collaborative efforts with the Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center and the TMH Faith-Based Ministries.

Scholarly Engagement Through Research & Service

My research focuses on the intertwining of society and information and communication technologies  (henceforth referred to as ICTs) – particularly how people use technology in different contexts to meet different needs, as well as how technology co-shapes and can be used to influence individuals’ behaviors. This overarching theme ties together three streams of research I have been exploring over the past few years:  information seeking behaviorhealth communication and consumer health informatics.
